Design directing an Epsom Bath Salts product launch with lots of attitude was definitely a fun-filled experience! The name and logo created was “Go Soak Yourself!” Not your typical bath salts label. But then again it did have the edginess, vigor and amusement so many sports enthusiasts love. To kick off this brand T-shirts and caps were distributed at the infamous LA Marathon – also known as the largest marathon in the world. The shirts and hats were a real hit and generated a strong marketing buzz. Accompanying these salty swag items was a web site for anyone wanting to get soaked even more. This aggressive mini campaign launched 10 years ago when I was the Design Director at Orbit Integrated. I still laugh every time I reminisce about it.
